Yoga is an old field from India. Yoga is the practice of Exercise, Breathing Techniques and Meditation. And it claims to improve the Health and Happiness. Pioneer of Classical Yoga is Patanjali.Patanjali defines Yoga as
"The cessation of the modification of the mind."

International Yoga Day - Proposal in UN
Yoga is old(6000+ years’) physical, mental and spiritual practice. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on 27th September, 2014 placed a proposal of ‘International Yoga Day’ in United Nations General Assembly. This proposal approved by 177 countries in Just 100 days and United Nations declared 21st June as ‘International Yoga Day’. Very proud moment for all Indians because Yoga is India’s ancient tradition and it gets worldwide reorganization. It had the “highest number of co-sponsors ever for any UNGA Resolution of such nature.”
The resolution also checked that a record number of 175 countries co-sponsoring it.

Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day.”
